WILL WORK FOR WINGS

Long considered a popular roadside biker bar, the Dew Drop Inn brand needed a more family friendly reboot.. The owners wanted their restaurant business to be recognized while still catering to their regular bar patrons. The updated logo is refreshed with customized pin-stiping details and edgier typography.

menu design

A crucial part of the bar experience, the new design for the Dew Drop Inn’s menus is both visually appealing and easy to navigate. Creative typography and high-quality imagery enhance the appeal of this renowned roadside bar and restaurant. The revised branding applied to the menu refreshed the brand away from tire tracks and gears to pin-striping details and more feminine refinement in the overall look. As intended, the branding refresh ultimately opened the customer base wider to benefit sales overall.

cocktails and bourbon and whiskey, oh my!

Seasonal promotions in operations call for newly designed menus while adhering to the established Dew Drop Inn’s look and feel.

COMMISSIONED T-shirt designS

Do The Dew

After the rebrand, the owners commsioned a refreshed look for their branded merchandise. I created a unisex design marrying the culture of both the patrons and the Dew Drop Inn’s aesthetic. Designed with a nod to motorcyclists who make “The Dew” a destination stop on their rides, and for anyone who journeys to Derby, Connecticut for the best wings.

Having the #1 standing BEST OF WINGS claim to fame, the brand refresh was capitalizing on social media to further their audience reach touting DESTINATION DEW DROP as their call to action. “The Dew” solidified its place as a worth-the-ride destination spot and the t-shirt design celebrates that.

In Memoriam

Designed in memory of one of Dew Drops’ own. Jay was the first face of The Dew Drop experience, working there many years as their bouncer. A big, tough looking, former Hells Angel, he was, in reality, just a cuddly teddybear. Well loved by all who knew him, especially his Dew Drop Family, thanks to his integrity as an employee as well as his heart of gold. And speaking of gold, Jay adored his two Golden Retrievers, Stanley & Charlie and donated time and money to a New England Golden Retriever rescue. This T-shirt was sold for charity exclusively on location, with all proceeds going to yankiegoldenretriverrescue.com

PS: “I got your 6” is what Jay would say when he meant that he had your back in any situation. That was Jay.

You Can Dew It!

T-shirt graphics for Team Dew Drop Inn charity wear. The team shirts were worn by participants and volunteers to show unity and strength during an Overnight Relay For Life Walk-thon. These are the pro bono jobs that I get paid in wings for because it’s worth it.

PS: CANCER SUCKS

NOT MY IDEA

This design was commisioned as a memorial t-shirt sold on-site for charity. Vinny “DirtBag” Hovinsky was a beloved joker and a Dew Drop regular. He joked about his dream of labeling his own home-brewed hard cider. The t-shirt was distributed on-site and sold like hotcakes with donations going to charity. Apologies to anyone offended. I worked in professional wrestling. I am thoroughly desensitized.

PS: IMOVH - In Memory Of Vincent Hovinsky WWDD - What Would Dirtbag Do? Again, apologies! LOL
